Motor Vehicle Tax Exemption

According to law n.° 5/2002 Motor Vehicle Registration Tax Ordinance^* published by Macau SAR government, the EQA is among the list of New Motor Vehicles running on petro fuel substitutes and is exempt from Motor Vehicle Tax. The EQA 250 electric car is priced from MOP$ 442,728/HK$ 429,000.

The all-new Mercedes EQA 250 is equipped with a "double-decker" lithium-ion battery with a usable energy content of 66.5 kWh. Located at the underbody of the vehicle and encased in aluminium alloy, the battery enjoys excellent protection. With a ground clearance of 200 millimetres^*, there is plenty of space to keep the battery from impact.

To achieve a balance between noise comfort and ride comfort at a high level, the all-new EQA isolates the electric powertrain from the chassis and body to ensure optimal noise reduction and greater enjoyment on every journey.

Mercedes-Benz offers battery warranty of up to eight years or 160,000 kilometres* (whichever comes first) for your greater peace of mind.

Superior electric range

WLTP testing showed the electric range total of the EQA 250 to be 426 kilometres, equivalent to almost 10 round trips^* between Hac Sá Beach and Border Gate for greater freedom no matter your destination.

Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) prescribed testing is conducted across different road conditions, including urban, highway and off-road traffic, to ensure that results are accurate and reflect daily driving needs.

An efficient charging system fit for your needs

The average residential charger supports an alternating current of up to 11kW. High-speed charging stations support a direct current of up to 50kW.

Intelligent thermal management system

The battery is part of the intelligent thermal management system of the EQA. To ensure that it is always kept within the optimum temperature range, it can be cooled or heated as required via a coolant-fed plate underneath the battery for optimal charging time and efficiency.
